Dragon Age_ The Veilguard won't have Denuvo, but that means it also won't have a preload period on P

By Dr. Evelyn Thorne | December 07, 2025

Electronic Arts has revealed the full PC system requirements for the upcoming RPG , as well as the global preload times—which those of us on PC can safely ignore because, sorry to say, we're not getting a preload.

That sucks, but the justification for it might help balance out that disappointment. " won’t include any 3rd party DRM (such as Denuvo) on any platform," EA explained. "The lack of DRM means that there will be no preload period for PC players."

I love the overall aesthetic of the platform. The animations, visual effects, and sound design make the gaming experience more dynamic and immersive. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back. The progressive jackpots are thrilling, and it's exciting to watch the jackpot amounts grow as more players spin the reels.
